How Funders Can Get Involved

We invite you to join the growing community of foundations, nonprofits, and other organizations using listening and feedback to improve their work and build more meaningful connections to the people and communities most impacted by their decisions.

Join Us

As a funder collaborative, Fund for Shared Insight is built on the support and engagement of our funding partners, who contribute and participate in various ways.

Core Funders

Our core funders commit a minimum of $250,000 a year for three years and play key roles in strategy-setting, grantmaking, and outreach.

Sidecar Funders

Sidecar funders provide one- or two-year grants ranging from $25,000 to $300,000 a year and participate in special events along with core funders.

Listen4Good Sponsors

Listen4Good sponsors pay for their grantees to participate in Listen4Good, and may make additional capacity-building grants, as needed.

We encourage you to join the collaborative, share your stories, ideas, and advice, or consider other ways to unite with our efforts to improve philanthropy through listening and learning. To start a conversation, please contact Melinda Tuan, Shared Insight’s managing director, at melinda@fundforsharedinsight.org.

Funder Collaborative Toolkit

A toolkit designed to help funder collaboratives advance better listening, inclusivity, and equity in their work.
